Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. Once enabled, you will be required to enter a time-sensitive verification code, which is sent to your email address, every time you sign in to the TipHaus Employee app from my.tiphaus.com.
Enabling 2FA in the TipHaus Employee App
Follow these steps to set up 2FA for your account:
Open the TipHaus Employee App and navigate to your Profile screen.
Tap Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
A screen will appear explaining the feature. The system will indicate the email address where your verification codes will be sent.
Check the box that states: "I understand that I will receive verification codes via email."
Tap Enable.
A confirmation message will appear, stating that a confirmation email has been sent to your inbox. Tap Close.
Open your email inbox and find the email from [email protected] titled "Enable Two-Factor Authentication."
Open the email and click the Enable Two-Factor Authentication button.
A success page will open in your web browser confirming that Two-Factor Authentication has been successfully enabled.
Logging In with 2FA Enabled
When 2FA is active, the login process requires one extra step:
Open the TipHaus Employee App. Enter your Email and Password, then tap Log In.
A new screen titled "Two-factor authentication" will appear, prompting you for a 6-digit code.
Open your email inbox and find the new email from TipHaus titled "Your verification code is [Code]".
Retrieve the six-digit, time-sensitive verification code from the email.
Return to the TipHaus Employee App and enter the code into the required field.
Optional: Check the Remember this device for 14 days box if you wish to skip 2FA on this device for two weeks.
Tap Continue.
You are now logged in.
⚠️The verification code for logging into the TipHaus Employee App with Two-Factor Authentication expires after 10 minutes.
