If you prefer to receive your tips on a paycheck directly from your employer, you can opt out of the Earned Tip Access® program at any time. You can always opt back into the program later if you choose.
How to Opt Out of Earned Tip Access®?
Open the ETA tab and tap Go to ETA Settings at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Opt-Out Earned Tip Access.
Confirm your request.
⚠️ Note: Any remaining tip earnings that have not yet been paid out will automatically flow to your regular paycheck.
How to Verify You Have Opted Out of Earned Tip Access®?
To verify your status, you can return to the Earned Tip Access tab, which will now display "Opted Out" at the top.
How to Opt Back In to Earned Tip Access® (ETA)
If you previously opted out and want to restart daily payouts:
Open the ETA tab and tap Go to ETA Settings at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Opt In Earned Tip Access (located in the same menu where you originally opted out).
Confirm your request in the app.
Note: After you submit your request, your manager will receive a notification to approve your reactivation in their dashboard. Once approved, you are all set to resume receiving daily payouts!
